Strangeloop Networks
Strangeloop provides web performance optimization (WPO) solutions to global ecommerce websites and enterprise applications.
Adsum Drive has been maintaining Strangeloop's website since 2010 and in early 2011 we helped them with a complete site redesign and re-implementation using the Silverstripe CMS.
The Challenge
Strangeloop was already using the Silverstripe CMS and was quite used to doing things a certain way. But they wanted and needed to re-organize how things worked on the back-end while maintaining all the same site organization up front for SEO purposes. So our challenge was to re-organize the structure of their CMS based on the new graphical design and organization.
The Solution
Silverstripe is a great extensible CMS, so we were quickly able to create some new page types and organize the back-end of the site in such a way that reflected better on the design and the org of the site itself. We were able to clean up some of the things that had bothered Strangeloop for some time.
The site designs were integrated with standard HTML/CSS with some help from some cool jQuery to create Strangeloop's eCommerce Revenue Calculator.
We were quite happy with the result and thankfully so was Strangeloop :)
