Finger Food Studios
Finger Food Studios is an expert developer for iPhone, Android, and mobile web. Founded in 2009 - this small but growing company is quickly becoming one of the best mobile development houses in the business.
As they expanded in 2010, Finger Food also decided it was time to update their website and create a mobile site.
The Challenge
FingerFoodStudios.com needed a complete makeover. The requirements were to create a fresh, clean looking site that would allow Finger Food Studios to display all of their work to guests, current clients, and prospective clients. This meant that part of the site needed to be accessed by only certain users. They also wanted all of the usual suspects of a corporate site - a blog, some informational pages, contact pages, and of course some twitter feed action.
Along side all of this, they wanted to be able to manage it all with a clean backend, and have the same content available on the mobile version of their site.
The Solution
To get our fresh new look, we turned to our creative design partners at Emilicious Designs. They came up with a wonderful design that the client loved! We had a fun time trying to get the company "tagline" to display properly due to the slanted design. You can read about that here
For the main site, we turned once again to the Silverstripe CMS. We customized the CMS to meet the needs of the new Finger Food website - adding a custom login for potential and current clients to view "top secret" projects. We also used Silverstripe to create a mobile version of their site based on the same content - just with a simplified look and pared down images.
Overall, we were very happy with the way the site turned out.. and so was our new client! Happy days.
